|About A New England History - The Towle/Stoyle Family Tree
This is a big family with a lot of interrelationships given that so many were early settlers of New
England. Families stayed close and frequently married within the community. I am fascinated by the
complete inter-connectivity of these early pioneers. Please feel free to send comments, corrections

Information on this site is generally substantiated up to the gateway ancestors. I generally will
not post information unless I can substantiate it from at least 3 sources. HOWEVER, there are cases
where documented information in state/local town/family histories has been shown to be incorrect
(History of Isleborough Maine, History of Parsonsfield Maine, etc.). I try my best to keep it all
straight but sometimes errors do slip in. In those cases where I do not have 3 sources or the
information feels wrong but is compelling; I will include it but include a note stating that the
data has not been substantiated.
